buff/polish/sticker removal
ok theres these 2 stickers on the back hatch that i really want to remove, theyre not car decals, but stickers, parts are peeling off , but hte majority is still there.... how would i get this off? i was searching and i found ..heat with dryer and peel off then goo gone it... anything else? i dont have a heat gun so thats out of the question...
2nd thing, the hood was scratched and someone put touchup paint on it... a big glob of it on there.... is there anyway to like get this patch of touchup off and make the hood look decent again?
3rd, how do i remove the wipers, they need to be painted black again, cause its losing its paint
thanks
car is 98 hatch

Instead of using a heat gun, you can also try using a hair dryer. Essentially it does the same thing by heating up the residue, and making it easier to remove.
A clay bar might be able to help you remove some of the touch up paint. Another alternative would be to wet sand the area with a very high grit sand paper, and then compound/buff it.

Wetsanding is for the purposes of better bending in the "touched-up" area with the rest of your paint, because it allows you to level off the paint in that area plus the surrounding areas.
You can surely wet sand with your own hand if desired, I wouldn't go less than 1000 grit on the wet-sand, then gradually move up to remove previous sanding marks. You should take it up to 2000 grit, and then polish, and buff.

eg. 600 grit will remove scratch marks from 400 grit
Once you reach 2000 grit, you should be able to remove the 2000 grit marks easily using rubbing compound. Rubbing compound will make your paint dull, and therefore you need to follow it up with a buff (eg. swirl remover from 3M) to bring the shine up again.
