Can't find DRL resistor ('90 Si) STILL STUCK!

Hey everybody.

Does anyone know where the DRL resistor is on a '90 Si. I read that it was somewhere in the central area of the engine compartment on the passenger side. I don't see it.

Much thanks.

UPDATE:

I went searching in the engine compartment the other day and came up empty. There's nothing under the battery tray (or anywhere else on passenger side) that resembles a resistor box. I looked from the top and from underneath the car. There's just nothing there. There aren't any stray connectors under there either.

I found the DRL module behind the glovebox but the wiring diagram I have doesn't match the wire colours and pin layout that it's showing. Does anyone have the Helm wiring schematic for a '90 Civic that they'd consider sharing? I'm wondering whether there was a design change between the '90-'91 model years for the DRL circuit.

yes indeed, I just had a problem with that on my 90 Civic, it's as white92 stated... remove the glove box, and it's on the side of the radio, says daytime light relay or something right on it.

its usually a grey control module, any 90/91 hatch/sedan will work

the daytimes come on in my car, after the ebrake is released, so that might be your problem Brett, if the control module is good.

Thanks for all of your replies.

I found the DRL module in between the radio and the glovebox late last night however there wasn't enough light to see what was back there. Is the resistor unit located here too?

This thing:

When I did my ZC swap the DRLs actually worked for a while and then they mysteriously stopped one day. I want to find out what's wrong with them.

resistor is typically under the hood to the left of the master cylidner... at least on the 92+ Civics it is... dunno about the 90 Civic, but you can always check out hondahookup.com

that is the headlight resistor I think,

I remember removing it, and DRL still came on when i released the ebrake...

92+ civics have that box, driverside infront of the strut mount under the hood.

To the right of the master cylinder is the fuel injector resister i believe. I had to change it on my car when i put the VTEC in to compensate for the different type of fuel injection.

yup that thing in the pic is under the battery. don't take it out or else all your lights and stuff will be outta whack. I dunno what exactly it does but when I swaped I left it out and my signals clicked fast in one direction and tails didn't work.

Still looking for someone with the OEM wiring diagram.
