Cleaning plastic trim on car exterior

I just washed my car and it's absolutely spotless now except for the plastic grill bit (where the "H" emblem is on the front). No matter how much I clean it, it still has this dirty look to it so I think that I'm gonna go with some detailing stuff that gives it the "wet" look, but I'd like some suggestions on what products are good at this.

I know that I can just go to CT and grab any one to try, but I'm asking coz I tried a bottle a long time ago on another car and it cleaned all the plastic trim on the car and made it a nice wet looking black colour, but after a couple of days dust would become stuck to it so badly that it looked absolutely like crap. I think that the stuff was oil based, coz it took a lot of effort with soap and water to get the dust off and the only way to get it clean again was to apply more of the product. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the stuff was called but I know that it smelled like cherries (mmmmmmmm!!!!) and if I saw the bottle, I'd know that that was it.

Come on, suggestions to clean plastic trim!

Mother's and Meguiars... the stuff in my car detailing arsenal are pretty much split down the middle! I'll just grab either one!

Ya, ya...that's what I use on all my lenses, deck face, gauge cover, etc... but I tried it with the plastic on the side by the doors, and it works totally sweet!!
