Crazy *** idea. Lighting up legroom with LEDs!

Today I got a resistor and 10 leds from tech teacher, he said if I wire the LEDs in parallel you can have about 100 LEDs on a 12V constant. Will that be dangerous? Will it dim everything, anyways tonite I will be doing a quick solder job hooking up 12V for 10 leds in parallel and 1 blue cold cathode neon tube, I wonder if 10 will light up and its RED so it has to be dim or the damn police will be on. Ill report my little technique tomorrow.

Yah I was wondering the same, my only guess would be cause he got this stuff for free. Save himself some cash money?

Rice is what I eat, I just want to do a little project , besides the LEDs are free. Last night (Friday 13) while washing dads car, I was hooking up a 13" Cold Cathode (Very Bright Neon Thin Tube) and I broke it!

What kind of LED's? Are they the regular red ones, or the super bright ones that come in white, blue or red.

If they were super bright, you could use a couple and it would look nice, but if there regular red than i dont think it will look nice.

Just stick to automotive neon lights.
