Ding King experience.

Ding King experience.
I tried out a Ding King over the last weekend, and here's my results.
I didn't have the English instructions, so I made my way through the French and learned a few things the hard way.
- I had a shallow golf ball sized dent on my front side panel. The Ding King was able to pull it up to an acceptable level. Due to the curviness of the area, I couldn't get it back to perfection - there are still some areas of the original dent showing, but it's acceptable. I tried orienting the tool in different ways, but it didn't work.
- The down side: As I tried to remove the remaining areas, the Ding King ended up pulling off the paint on my car! I think you have to prime the area with the solution first each time.
- The Ding King didn't work on the little pebble-sized dents. I tried using smaller glue areas, but to no avail.
- The glue gun instructions say let dry for 60 seconds, but I believe the real instructions say 5 minutes. Definitely wait 5 minutes - although the glue seems dry, it prematurely popped off when I didn't wait long enough
- If the glue "popped", scrape off the largest chunk with the scraper, but instead of scratching up your car to get off the remaining pieces, just use the provided solution and rub - it works
I think this tool is good if you're not obsessed with a mint exterior, and it's really worth it if you can split it with a couple of people. I'm not happy about the paint popping off though, but like I said, maybe if you cleaned the area with the solution first ...
