dry time on rust proofing

i just got my car rust proofed and i was wondering how long it would take to dry. Some of the rust proofing is on the paint is that something i should worry about? Can i wash off the rust proofing on teh paint after a day or two?

leave it on as long as possible...it aint gonna hurt nuthin, just make your car look ugly...I left the residue from my rust proofing on for over 2weeks and the only reason I washed it off cuz it was that super nice day we had and I just needed to wash my car

so if you can stand for the ugliness just leave it but if you wanna wash it you can wash it the same day if you like (but its gonna continue to seep outta the crevaces for a few washes)

and rust proofing your car is a good idea regardless what time of year, better late than never

well i repainted the whoel front end and rad support so i did the rust proofing too. I'm not worried about how ugly it looks cuz there is only a little on teh bumper and fenders. I'll just leave it seeing as how there is a lot of snow outside right now

and in response to ottawasi, it was already rustproofed but when i painted the rad support i had to sand all the paint off so i jsut rustproofed the engine bay to make it look even from the rad support to the rest of the engine bay
