My GF smashed her passenger side mirror.. the casing is fine.. the mirror is cracked.. is there anyway to just replace the MIRROR itself? or do i have to replace that whole black piece?

Thanks..

no, you can replace the mirror if you got skiiiiiilll like me.

I took apart my mirros for a complete paint job (not the ghetto paint jobs that normal ppl do) - and I almost regreted it at times it's not an easy task.

Now... power or non?

You get a new mirror at the dealer, you yank off and pop on. Take your time, distribute pressure carefully!!

When I replaced my mirrors I swapped the glass by throwing the mirror and the mirror housing in boiling water.

After a bout 30 seconds the plastic was bendable..

Leaving plastic in too long will permanently distort the plastic..
