Flat Army Green ED7

k, so basically I hate my car...the paint job is horrible and I'm gonna do something about it...picture this, flat olive green aka army green, on black steelies

I've seen the camo civic on honda-tech but never just a straight millitary green one I think it would look pretty slick, and of course I would stencil my ranking above the door opening (nascar style) in flat black

who wants to help me sand and paint this biatch!?!?

Tell me about.....I didnt have the heart to do it to the SE.
However one day when the paint goes...its a different story

Here is the ultimate post. Here was my inspiration

http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=920939

It's pretty easy to do...my buddy rattled canned it. Took 1 day and I think 10-12 cans.

I was gonna do flat beige w/black hood & roof

yea, I just gotta find 10-12 cans of the army green rattle cans (same brand) and then a couple of flat black for the hood and possible roof...sand the biatch down and spray bomb that biznatch...I also wanna make somekind of gun turret for the sunroof (for car show purposes)

c'mon good weather I need to do this!!!!

yea, they only had 1 can of the green when I went...bastards, I wonder if they can order me a case of it? that would be sweet

painting all the door jambs and such is gonna suck, especially since the car is white now

This is fvcking sick. I loved army models back when I was little, I painted tanks and plane camo style and this brings back so much childhood memories.

This **** is super hard.

i think it would look bad *** if it was army green with black hood and roof and then cleared ohhh that would look sexy

clearing it defeats the point of it all...like do u see clear coated army vehichles? no! lol...straight up flat black and olive green...maybe radar wont work on my car anymore...stealth mode type ish!!

thankfully my car is relatively rust free so next to no body work is needed, just a lil filler on the hood where the dent is and voila...spray away!!!

I say try for an even darker green. ^^^ That one still looks too light. I bet Car Quest could hook you up with some nice paint, too. They could probably even mix you a custom army green.

What about some army green all over w/ black lips and black pinstripe along the lower window line or something.

paint the hood, roof, hatch and wheel covers flat black, the rest flat green and that would look sweet

that is true clearing it would defeat the purpose of the army style but for some reason that colour cleared looks sexy

I personally think army theme should be carried out as a whole, with no black moldings or lips and hood and all that stuff. Cause that's sort of "modern" and army theme is traditional.

If the army theme is used, then I would keep it all through. But if only the colour is selected, then that's a different idea.

its been done in the states many times...but none will have a paintball gun turret in the sunroof!!!

this is the main and pretty much final idea...flat army green all over cept the hood that will be flat black...all lips and skirts will be black, wheels will be black steelies. and of course "LT. Cynikal.Mindset" over the drivers door also some random army vehicle like numbering and whatnot

I really need a whole weekend to tear into this project...a nice sized garage would be nice
