these are what i'm rockin' on my eg right now but it started to chip pretty badly in the middle because i don't think they were painted very well. well i'm probably going to repaint them myself, should i just paint them all gun metal or with the silver lip? also any tips on how i should paint them so they wont chip as fast. btw these were what my rims looked like when i first got them and i think it looks pretty good with the honda center cap on but not sure how it would look like with it all gun metal and the silver centre cap.

just redo it the way it is...and make sure your clear coat and wet sand and stuff

redo them the way u got them, they look awesome all gunmetal with the silver lip. To help prevent chipping, make sure u sand them down really good and finish with 320 grit sandpaper, then primer and paint then clearcoat. U wont need to do any wetsanding because u arent making a showcar here :S

if he wants them to look mint then he should wet sand...

 

why wetsand if u dont need to? look at my picture, my rims look amazing and no wetsanding was done, sure if he has some orange peel or some runs in the clearcoat

 

wow kieran what grits did you use in order? those look sick. oh yeah and what about air craft paint stripper? i was thinking about doing that to remove the gun metal and then start from there.
