I think you can buy them right off the site bro.

I know they are pretty hard to get over here.

I have projectors as well, my brother is being gay and saying I can't switch the lights they came with, because they use like a small fog light bulb.

I showed him the Silverstar h1 and h3 and he said they too big to fit!

a lot of TCC folks have mentioned how good Silverstar bulbs are so I then went on ahead to purchase two @ Crappy (Canadian) Tire.

However, to my dismay, there weren't as "blue" as I expected; in fact, you can simply go to Ebay and get bluer bulbs for a cheap price. I got 2 6200K bulbs from Ebay for abou 20 CDN (includes shipping) and they're bluer and cheaper than Silverstars. (I recall paying 29.99 for ONE SILVERSTAR bulb)

So yeah; hope that helps.

You don't buy Silverstars for the ricer blue look, you buy them to get a slightly whiter white and better light output.

^^ ryanhook: upon shining the light directly in front of my garage, I noticed that the blue bulb off of Ebay produced a whiter light in comparison to the Silverstar which produced a nasty **** yellow colour.

you're clearly not educated about light... either that or you are straight up ricer from the core.

Perhaps you should do a lot more reading about the effects of tinted bulbs on actual light output. I also suggest you also search the archives for numerous threads I've posted on subjects regarding headlight bulbs.

I've owned "bluer" headlight bulbs before. They do look whiter, but the actual useful light output is pathetic. You might as well be wearing a welder's mask when you drive.

P.S. bbarbulo.... cheers!

just application I think... H3 is for like fog lights, it's not a headlight application.

I had Osram Silverstars from europe, so they were E-code spec. The lights are amazing. I dunno, maybe Canadian Tire sells like second rate lights or whatever, but I know mine were so white it was angelic. Maybe I'll do a photo comparison against my HIDs when I get a camera.

Hi Bruno, I was about to ask a very relevant question on the issue. Does anybody know what the exact color temperature is for the European OSRAM Silverstar bulbs? The US ones here are advertised as 4000K. I noticed the OSRAM (European) Cool Blues are advertised as 4000K as well, and I suppose they're brighter and whiter than US Cool Blues. I'm wondering if the OSRAM Cool Blue is a better alternative if we're after good visibility AND the ricer look. What do you guys think??

if you want the bluish look, then Silverstars are NOT for you. They look exactly like normal bulbs except the light on the ground is a pure white light w/o any filters in the case of euro-spec Osram. USDM ones have a slight filter. If you want the blue look headlights, look somewhere other than Osram Silverstars.

Question:
Which is better, SUPER or COOL BLUE or Silverstar?

Answer:
This all depends on personal requirements and preferences.Safety-conscious drivers who are looking for maximum performance and as much light as possible on the road ahead tend to choose OSRAM SUPER or better the OSRAM SILVERSTAR.
The OSRAM SILVERSTAR is the best possible choice at present for halogen headlights because it offers the highest light output.

Drivers who prefer good performance, high visibility and something a little different tend to choose lamps from the OSRAM COOL BLUE range.
The idea is that you are safer in a car that is noticed.

right from their site!
