Usualy fog light lenses are made from glass... So you cant just go and put sandpaper to them. It will create ditches and an unsmoothed surface.

As far as i know, only plastic lenses can be wet sanded. When it comes to glass lenses, bust out your high speed polisher and take some compounds to it.

I don't know about glass foglight lenses but I did a wet sand on my headlights which are plastic, they still had a bit of a haze to them after so I wax them after every wash and they stay very clear. You can try it, I don't know if it will work though. I just use basic liquid Turtle wax.

ya the lenses are made from glass but you can't f*ck them up anymore now, try give them a high speed buffing. or give them clear coat or some 3M tape
