Was also told the light will colour shift to a bit bluer.. Some pics of the light with yellow to them are due to angle/camera.

Don't the ballasts get hot?

Are you worried about left lense meltage?

They get a bit warm but not to the point where you can fry an egg to them...

What do you mean left lense meltage? What gives you that idea?

Why whats the new LEGAL thing about HIDs? I heard they baned them in U.S ... ? What about up here?

Was the green tinge under perhaps DRL? Did you disconnect your DRL module, or at least switch it to your marker/corner lights?

i think the green tinge is mostly the digital camera....upclose they look totally white.


the cut off is a lot sharper than the hids in my red golf

The sale of HID kits has been banned in the U.S. as of Aug15/03, however they are still legal for sale here, at least for now.

bbarbulo, just like sanjay said, the green is due to the digital camera..

The night pics are not that great because my lights are not that blue...

The pictures titled 'let there be light' are exactly how the light looks on the floor in real life..

this pic is the closest to how the actual light looks:
