HID's in OEM 99-00 Fogs

HID's in OEM 99-00 Fogs
Do the oem foglights accept a HID bulb? Is it too long? Any modifications need to be done to the housing? Has anyone done this? Is it a good idea or should i avoid it and just put yellow bulbs in them?

avoid it.
not worth it and i highly doubt the oem housing can take it.

I was anticipating that response, although that is not what i wanted to hear . Anyone share team rukus' opinion?

keep it simple...do a nice PIAA bulb or something....those will light up the road nicely for you

i've got piaa xtreme force builbs in my oem fogs. burn at 4700k. couldn't be happier.

why do you want white light in your fogs???? that totally defeats the purpose
