IKON Jspec 17" Wheels with Wanli Rubber

Hey Guys

I need some opinions. Someone i know is selling a slightly used but absolutely mint set of IKON Jspec rims with Wanli rubber on them. I am not sure if they will look good on my car......here are the details.

IKON Jspecs are 17x7, five spoke with a mirror finish polished lip. They have a 45mm offset and each weight 20 pounds. They are universal so will fit civics, accords and some other five lug cars. The color is hyper silver.

The rubber is Wanli S1088 205-40-Z17 with directional V tread with better than 95% tread life. I read mixed reviews on Wanlis...some people said they are cheap from China but others say they are ok. So even if they last a two seasons...im good with it.

I drive a black 99 Civic Sedan...so i want you guys to tell me:

1) Will they look good on my car
2) Will they be too heavy to compromise performance
3) Will i need hubcentric rings. The guy said yes.
4) What is a good price to pay for this package??

Salman

the rims are multi bolt / universal...including the 4x100 fitment option. So if they fit a civic plus they have almost new wanli's on them...how much should i offer to pay??????????????

i don't think there rims that are universal in both 4 and 5 bolt. i didn't see any patterns on those rims that looked like 4x100 or any 4 bolt pattern.

Kevin and RJ

You guys were right....the rim has a dual five bolt pattern and it will definitely not fit a civic. Sh*t man....i thought i finally found my a decent set of rims.

I called the manufacturer and they also confirmed it. Now..im gonna call this guy who is selling them and kick his ***. He was yelling 4x100 like a mad man to me.

ok peeps...i called the guy up...and he told me that he can see 4x100 printed / engraved on the back of the rim. This is crazy....what the ****.

I might as well go to him tonight and actually try to install the rims.

hi szuberi,

check out tenzo-r's offerings. you'll find one or more that are very similar to those.

Exclamation

thanks for the pointer Saad. I did speak with Hdave a while ago but changed my mind after reading the reviews on the 711. Bad treadwear is what everybody complained about....if i go for Kumho's...id rather go for 712.

This is provided i dont buy the new TSX after the winter

yeah don't even bother with those rims, the guy says 4x100 is stamped on the back but clearly there's no 4x100 on the rims. how much are 712s anyways? i was always under the impression that kumho tires were kinda pricy.

OK...mr. nice guy has sent me two pics of the back side of the rims...there are two pics and they show multiple bolt patterns engraved on the back side. THis includes a 4x100 also.....

Next to each bolt pattern, they are weights mentioned. I dont have a clue what sh*t this is.....jeeez

Dont actually know what those mean cuz it says 4 bolt then it says 5 bolt. but looks like a generic stamp that is being used for both they bolt patterns.

You dont have to go on and on about showing your dislike about the rims...alright. The wight cant be of the rims....they are like 20 pounds each so that weight is certainly for something else.

I will perhaps meet the guy this weekend to check em out.

Hey Invader_HB...does your rim has 10 holes or 8 in the centre???
