It fell off my front where it was zip tied and i put it on my windshield. is it illegal? can i get a ticket?
i know i should search for this answer but im leaving on a 3 hour trip to the cottage in 30 minutes and im kinda in a rush.

I realy dont think the cops will bug you too much about it. Most of the people i know drive around without their plates on the front because they think it looks ugly. lol. If they do bother you. Tell them that you were driving and it fell off on your way. They wont give you a ticket...not realy your fault.

yeah, they can pull you over for it. they'll tell you they just saved your life cuz that plate was about to decapitate you LOL.... referring of course to the possibility of it flying around your cabin during a crash or rollover.

 

I got a ticket for no front plate..mounted it..took a pic...got it dropped

mount the damb plate.

hahah my sister didnt even put it on the windsheild...she got pulled over cuz the license plate was fallign off so i took it off and the cop pulled her over for not having a "front license plate" and then my sis was like ya it fell off so i didnt konw wat to do and he told her to put it in the windsheild and let her go lol

HTA states a plate must be mounted in the most front part of the car.

got a ticket for it before, and it was in my windshield. My car got painted 14 days prior and was told not to put the plate on yet, brought it to court, still had to pay $60. Said that the windshield is the worst place for ur plate, cuz of what bruno said.
