My wife has a 97 sedan and the hood vibrates when idling. It's a very minor vibration but enough to make noise and you can feel it. Is there anyway I can tighten the hood latch or something to reduce/eliminate the vibration?

 

yeah, tighten it just like any other latch or even adjust the rubber stoppers to prevent the noise.

 

i had the same thing a bit ago... the rubber stoppers should be able to fix the problem without touching the latch

 

try a search, this was covered in pretty good detail a few weeks ago..
