I went to the Honda dealership last week to get the left front bumper clip. U know the side there is a nut and the clip and u screw it in. I need the clip. I went there to order it and they gave me the wrong 1 twice. Does anyone know which 1 it is. I even showed them the right side of the clip. Now i install it and i don't want to take it out.

It seems to me it is #8 but when i order it it's not. I dunno why. The parts guy that work there is kind of useless. I need someone that can get me the right parts. I just need a little piece of clip.

Maybe it is #42 but i can't tell. It looks like 1 of those, but the way they put it in that pic that's not where it goes. OMG. Maybe i need to talk to 1 of their mechanics in the shop.

 

it's definately NOT number 42.

42 is a clip nut used to secure a self-tapping screw into the front lip

number 8 is the right one. the guy who picked the part at the honda warehouse probably screwed up!!!!

 

U sure #8 is the right 1? Do u work for Honda parts section or are u guessing too? I'm just trying to make sure. Thanx for your help. 1 more quick reply from u would be great.

the link to the diagram is american. double check with the parts guy if the canadian diagrams use the same part numbers as the states.

 

its definately #8... its a whitish plastic piece, and its not a clip, you screw into it in the fenderwell
