Need opinions on exterior mods + Paint

So i'm planning to repaint my EK white again.

I'm thinking of painting it all white except for the roof and doing a nice clean black.

That way when i go CF Hood, CF hatch
It'll flow but i want to leave my CTR spoiler white

Or should i just paint the whole thing white to keep it nice and clean and put cf hood and cf hatch or leave it without a cf hatch?

Also planning to put a OEM red honda symbol back only, front will be badgeless

Need opinions

A nice bright white or a CWcream white?
Or a creamy white thats a bit darker then CW white

Last but not least :

Spoon mirrors? or keep the CTR mirrors?
if i got he spoon mirrors they'd be replica and painted white and bases left black.

I think a black roof with CF hood and hatch might look good. But I think I would go with a creamy white, and throw a little pearl in there.

hey jdm boy....lol...black roof and cf hood will look awesome on the hatch but then dont go cw on the color. keep it the regular white for it to flow better. amber sidemarkers, ctr or EK3/4 mirrors, oem front and rear lips plus the other usual stuff and you are ballin.

the car in the pic is pure white...perfect for that black and white theme.

Now that hatch is awesome...all it needs is the CF hood, mirrors, roof, spoiler and hatch.

no c/f hood..some people should start doing something different...that hatch looks 100000% better without a c/f hood

Sal, that pic you put is up is pretty much my car right now but needs a repaint and its ctr mirrors + ctr spoiler

my hood's corners are a lil rusted thats why i'm thinking about CF zyepher instead of just getting another OEM hood

but i've though about not doing it
But if i do CF hood most likely gotta pull the cf hatch also

and maybe Takata Green GT3's

CW is a nice colour. Different hood colour is also funky, as I am sporting one myself.

It is hard to pick it, you really gotta go with your gut instinct and do it. Jay does good work so you don't have to worry about the job, just tell the man what you want and that's it.

Do your own thing, especially when it comes to exterior.

Id suggest getting the roof vinyled for now, if you like it keep it, if not you can get rid of it quite easily.

Thats what I did when I was test fitting stuff to see if I like the 2 tone look before I was going to go out and spend money on getting it done.

So all in all, paint the whole car white, and get the stuff you want to test out vinyled at Shinzo.

in my experience, if you focus on one thing at a time..you will make better decisions. do your exterior first....then look into wheels and interior.

go in stages...get the paint fixed/done first...drive for a while to see how you like it.....then look into doing the roof black or with the cf hood. cuz if you dont like the black and white look later on....you will regret.

it's clear what you need to do.

all white paint, nice and white, not jizz colored like an old man's caddy... something like snow white.

all one color, not white/black. just keep the raw plastic parts black (grille on the bumper, upper grille, and maybe sideskirts) for contrast.

no c/f hood, but yes to c/f hatch. type R mirrors are fine. instead of carbon fiber hood, get the thin side mouldings unpainted. also get the 4 dr handles for the doors in order to have lockless handles like I did.

Ok, I come from a whole different side of the car game, I'm a GM musclecar guy, so we do alot of things different than you Honda guys. If you want a CLEAN look, all this carbon fibre **** needs to be painted, yeah great you have carbon fibre parts, I'm not gonna go and get a fibreglass cowl hood for my Cutlass and leave it black, it just looks stupid. That been said.. Take a page out of VW guy's books, they do really clean, nice cars.

My list for you car, ideally.
-Shave sidemouldings.
-if it has a rear wiper for the window, shave that.
-hatch completely shaved
-lip on the front, maybe black to match the black grille.
-shaved driprails.
-flared wheel arches to accept wide wheels
-smooth the bumpers with plastic welding
-off white colour maybe with a tinge of light gray. and some pearl.

i rather not shave the mouldings i rather keep them
shaving mouldings causes more problems later on
If someone with body work can explain

(unless its done properly which is even more $$$)
