so.... it's.... a... pickup truck now? or ????

I thought you were gonna chop the top as in take out 3-4 inches from the a,b, and c pillars and put the roof back on it... but this.... this is just a ... ... ... nightmare I guess?

I mean, what are you gonna do with the area between the tail lights?

the chassis looks like its gonna be super tweaked cuz all I saw was a 2x4 to reinforce it while you were cutting...ur supposed to weld in some steel brackets to keep it from twisting up and whatnot

interesting concept tho

it's neither interesting nor unique. you have no idea how many botched Civic convertibles have ended up on ebay in the past 4 years. all born out of some dumbwitted idea, probably brought on by drinking or drugs. haha

and yeah... this is a dumb idea. no props here.

meh, its unique I will give you that......you should have chosen something cheaper (like an old 4th gen or something that you could have picked up for less than 1000) where you would lose less money if you mess it up.....

WHY on god's green earth would you do this......... i mean it just makes no sense. maybe its just me but i think its retarted, and i do agree that the idea probably came from being drunk or stoned. seems like a waste of a car cause this has been tried and failed so many times in the past, but good luck i on your plans for it and i hope u didnt make a big mistake on this.

ok well the body didn't twist at all and we have already designed a cage for it to reinforce the car. there are three of us working on the car one person has an engineering degree and the other 2 of us can weld so i am pretty sure this project will turn out just fine thanks for the critisism from the guys that don't think this will work
