Piaa Spark Blue vs SilverStar

got my piaa shipped from Japan, Purolator sucks!

object: ORSAM Silverstar 4300k vs Piaa Spark Blue 7500k

PIAA box

PIAA(Right) vs Silver star(Left)

PIAA

SilverStar

Piaa would cost almost CAD$100 on ebay, Silverstar could be picked up @ˇˇpowerbulb.com for CAD$45

the light output for driving are pretty much the same, it's just piaa is little brighter, look more blue from outside.

Conclude: PIAA is better but silverstar is more suitable for your pocket.

life expectancy of piaa is siet though... silverstars too, but they last roughly a year... piass are known to last a couple months, so at the price i would look towards other xenon headlights

well i currently have silverstars, they have lasted me over a year... averages is about a year though... but they are not woth the money, lightoutput is greater and whiter than oem but not much and not worth the great ptice... piass are birighter than silverstars also but def not worth the money as they are not long lasting what so ever and are way over priced even more expensive than silverstars...

i am current changing my headlights to projectors once i do that i will be switching to liteglow bulbs... i currently have some h3's lite glow zzenons in my goflights, they are hella brighter than my silverstars and were only $30...

i don care bout blueness i care bout "white"... and they are hella extreme white

but i love the lite glows...
they are much brighter than silverstars... i have themnin my fogs and silverstars in my headlights and they make my headlights appear to look amber lol...

i posted a pic of them b4 here.. search for projector bulbs and find the post i made bout them...

they are much better than eurolights, and street glows...

EDIT: HERE IS MY POST ON THEM
hey bud i too purchased projectors and when they come in will have the same problem...

i have new foglights installed and yesterday bought some new lights fo them to upgrade from the standard 55W, let me tell you, 100X better and brighter, hell i don even drive with my headlights on n e more, just fogs and parking lights and these are enough... here is a pic, i got them at my local hobby sho for 30 for the pair... hell silverstars are 20 each and everyone at the shop said they suck to these and ican second that as i have silverstar headlights... i say go with these as when i get my projectors these will be going in them as well...

that is the package they are by lite glow, the bulbs shown are the old bulbs the new one have a blue coating but shine crystal white, - white... and they doo last i have heard people tell me they have had them for over a year... and they are not 100W i would not go with 100W due to safty and heat/melting problems... bus 100W is not legal... piass are too expensive, overrated, and not wotrth the money due to lifespan...
now shownare my old bulbs in the pack after replacement, the new bulbs have a blue tinge whcih of course makes them extremem white, and there are more variety then just the h3 bulb shown above

You may think that the Silverstars are more suitable for your pocketbook, and they are, but I think that they look better as well!

Light output seems to be similar, but the PIAA's seem to output a bit more blue.

I used to just run Eurolite Xenon fusion bulbs and I was very happy with them, they were pretty much pure white, and very bright and they lasted around a year. Plus I could pick them up for 20 bucks a set. But since I have switched to JDM headlights and the H4H bulbs for them cost upwards of 80 dollars a pair and the lightoutput still sucks I opted to just switch to HID's and modify the H4 bulb to fit. I figure for the cost of a few sets of the old bulbs it will eventually pay for one complete HID kit. And nothing can touch the output of the HID's I have now.

Wow, ive read many reviews about the Piaa spark blue bulbs and they have all been really good. Now, we need to see how long these bubls last, with 7500K i doubt these will last that long.

Hey Vincent let us know how long the bulbs last.

honestly, after blowing my silverstars TWICE, i'm not buying anymore expensive halogen lights. i rather save up and get myself an hid kit which will yield waaaayy better results. at 100 bucks, i rather wait a little longer and buy something better. i bought some cheap 8 dollar bulbs from wal mart and the lighting isn't as bad actually. the silverstars were just whiter and i guess the same goes with this? it might be a little brighter but not worth it imo.
