projector headlight street legal?

as said in the title, are projector headlights street legal in Toronto? If they are, what about the black housed ones?

Thanks!

I'm not a legal expert but I have black housing dual angel eye projectors with a slight blue tint to the low beams and turnsignals the bulbs shine nice and white but are blue glass so as they blink they seem blue. I've gone trough tons of RIDE stops and cops have even said things about my exhaust noise bieing a little loud, I've been pulled over and had cops make me pop my hood, look under for the cat etc. I have never once been givin a hard time about my lights. one doesn't work right and the low beam on it goes out, I haven't bothered to fix it cuz I'm plannin on gettin rid of them and going back to a more stock look, and they haven't even said anything about that. If they are illeagal then don't use them if your the type who gets pulled over and your mouth/attitude/race* gets you in even further.

*I'm white so I prolly get let off easier then others... I'm not sayin that's how it should be, but that is how it is.

TYC Projectors come with a card that you can carry in your car if the fuzz hassle you

Its says its a certificate of compliance under SAE/DOT requirements, although it probably means nothing as it falls under the saftey standard of the US Dept of transportation not Transport Canada,

I havent had a problem for the past two years,

shouldn't be a problem

I had the dual halo projectors with 6500k hids in them with the blue tinted corner light bulbs, and never got hassled for them..........had it on for more than 2 years, no problems.

I believe what the problem is is when the light covers itself is tinted, and the actual light output is darkened. Black housing headlights have a clear lens on the outside, so it doesn't affect the output at all.

But Ol Dusty is right, if you got an attitude and a quick mouth, and are a police magnet, then maaaaaaaaaybe.
Correct me if I'm wrong anyone..........
