i had my projectors for 2 years now...and one bulb burnt out yesterday so i changed it today...and everything was fine...the rings lit up and everything...later on tonight i tried to turn it on and it wasn't working....i doubt the bulb would burn out that fast...i was wondering if anyone else had similar problems and if there is anything i could do to fix this...

2 questions:

Are both sides not working, or just the one replaced?
What kind of bulb did you put in?

 

you cannot touch the bulb. one micro bead of moisture or oil on the bulb and you're looking at 2-3 hours tops. Especially if you have crappy projectors like mine.
are you touching the bulb out of the package?

 

Yeah, that could have been the problem too if just the one bulb blew.
It says right on the package not to come in contact with the bulb though.
