Unless they came in a box that looks like this they are copies...

I don't care if you friends buddy said they were real..

Or someones mom brought back 20 from Japan...

Actually not much really, to alot of people (at least nowadays) it's more aesthetically pleasing than clear corners, or the OEM orangy colour ones

 

ohhh JDM eh? JDM is cool.. but i like my clear corners

 

Those have a JDM equivalent..

OEM Stanley or Vision Clear...
