Rear quarter panel wheel well edge lining

Rear quarter panel wheel well edge lining
I was just wondering if this piece was neccessary? I lowered my car and the end of the lining was kinda coming off so I just removed it completely. I also heard that this lining causes rust in the usual spot (rear quater panels) with 92 - 95 Civics? Any info? Thanks.

I took mine off, but my car is a fair weather only car... Just wash in behind there, and you'll be fine.

Take it off the procede to clean the tonnes of crud that gets stuck there..

That is one of the prime reasons for honda rot..

Rolling the lip helps too...
