removing double sided tape from headlights

hey i have a set of headlights that i took eye lids off...and there some double sided tape on them...i know it comes off easy but i wanna know the easiest way possible...

i just use gasoline on a cloth and it took all the excess silicone i had on the lens when i was doing the blackhousing of my headlights

its just tape.. no need for chemicals. With heat it'll peel off

hey

thanx guys everything came off perfect.....lights were sold last nite also....used a blow dryer 2 heat up the double sided tape....peeled what i could off..scrapped what i could with my nails then used paint thinner 2 take off the nasty left over glue etc....lights looked like new.lol...thanx guys...
