there is a black triangular piece on the leading edge of the front door where the side mirror is, it's held on by clips, carefully yank it out, you should see a few nuts. unplug the connector and loosen the nuts and the mirror should come free. the molding might be stuck to the door frame, so wiggle it a bit should do it. btw, lowering your windows would help.

i am not sure about the molding, i am guessing that you might have to go about it from behind, which means taking out door panels and such. i'll leave that for someone who's experienced to answer that question.

good luck!

Havent really tried this before but i am thinking theoretically...

Open the door and then get a flat head screw driver and sum old cloth.

Cover the flat head with the cloth and then on the side of the moulding insert the flat head and then start slowly yanking it that should help it come off.

Once the first two clips are off the other ones can be taken off by pulling the moulding.

PS. Where are you getting them painted and for how much? Cuz i need to do the same thing and if its cheap I am willing to do it. Please reply asap.

It will take some patience but I'd recommend taking the door panels off-->less likely to break the clips. I had my mirrors, all 6 moldings, and the side rocker panels done and they look tight!!

I paid $160.00 for everything, I took out the parts myself and dropped them off at the body shop. If your interested I'll ask him if I can get a deal on the painting. What's the color code of your ride? Mine was Vouge Silver Metallic CHNH583M. If you have the same color than I can get a better deal b/c I have some other pieces to paint.

Why don't you do it yourself? That's the next thing that I'm painting on my car. Gotta get new looking again (it's a 92)!!

That is an amazing price Junior. I've been quoted ridiculous prices on certain things, but 160 for all that is really really good!
