ok, i called a Dixie Auto Glass and they said they'll repair it for $35. this sounds really cheap, they have life time gurantee too for leaks. SHould I just try it out or don't even bother? some say it should be replaced, not repaired. if leaks are my only concern for saftey, then i should go with it? beacause they said life time warranty on leaks.

I found the place called "miracle auto glass" like you said CyniKal.Mindset in an old post. they charge 235 now for replacing..

anyhow, what should i do???

miracle is still around eh? well see when the fix a crack all they do is force silicone into it and then vacuum out the air and let it cure...most of the time the stone chip/crack is invisable after that...so depending on the actual crack like u say a few inches so thats like as long as your index finger? thats a decent crack and I would just wait for it to get worse and then grab a new windshield
