Which rims should I get?

Hi its my first time buying rims, im not worried about the price but
of course I would like to get the best deal possible.

This is the style I am looking for as for the tires, Im gonna go with
the Falken ZIEX ZE-512. I've heard good things so I thought I'd
try em out. I will be swapping them and my oem all seasons when
winter comes to try to make em last longer. BTW I was quoted
2400 for the Racing harts C2 17" and Falken ZIEX ZE-512's
everything included (installation of course).

Anyone have any other options for the same style and quality
but for a cheaper price of course. Feedback PLZZZZZZ...

Racing Hart C2's can't be beat in style and quality. Buy the real deal. That's hot. Those were the first wheels I drooled over when I was a young lad. Still love them nearly 8 years later.

don't get the 512s. they wear fast and aren't as good when they wear down.

cool, any idea on the weight of the c2's? I looked but had no
luck finding out.

Also what tire would be good? daily driver? only using in summer?

tires are personal preference and price choosen. good common ones are:

Yokohama ES100
Toyo Proxes 4
Falken Zeix ZE-512
Kumho 712

then for strictly summer, high *** performance: $$$$
Kumho MX
and the ones i'm getting...Hankook Ventus S-R2 Z212

i'd go with a good high performance summer only, as you already stated you have other rubbers for winter.

On several wheel weights databases, the 18" C2 weight 21.5lbs so the 17's are probably slightly under 20lbs.

Those are sweet wheels, but $2400, ouch! You could easily get 17" Rotas with tires for half that and use the rest of the $ for the suspension mods you were planning.

not too many Racing Hart dealers around man. Buy it in the US.

anyways, you COULD go for some cheaper rims, but cheaper rims also make your car look cheap. rims are the #1 best mod ever. I'd never drive a car on stock rims.

What colour is your car??? Those RH look amazing, but that car at the top needs to be lowered.

There are a variety of rims that look like those and with a budget of 2400 +/- you may be able to find some that are lighter.

Silver colour, I really like those rims tho. I would pay 2400 LOL

Its just Im thinking they might get stolen. I would be pissed if
they did.

Maybe Konig would be nice? I was thinking Konig Unknown...

like everybody says if they want them they can get them...
just park it in the garage if you have one, get a good pager alarm with "TILT" sensor and lock nuts, park it always close to the mall and all that other stuff you probably already know

Listening to you is dangerous! I got my $$$ rims... they had to be special ordered all the way from Japan! Took 2 months by boat. Pics coming soon...

Oh, but he IS right. Get the rims you love, not the ones you like (hmm, where have I heard that before?)

Also... even if you aren't planning other changes right away, ask yourself what else you want to do to your car, exterior wise? It's good to come up with a plan before you actually order up any mods, like rims. A well thought out plan will show in the details, like a good colour scheme for rims against the body, and so on.

I'm glad you took my advice get a tilt sensor on your alarm and a couple of sets of good locking nuts. You can't be too safe with something that just bolts to your car. Don't want someone else enjoying YOUR rims.

Good advice...Well I really love the racingharts, I am getting them
for sure. I guess I'll have to save up a little first. I'll do my suspenion before winter.

The only thing I am stuck on is the tires...

What are you people using?
