Does anyone know if having Shaved Door Handles are illegal?

I've been told by a friend they are, incase of emergencies.

no I don't think they're illegal.. if there's an emergency they'll break your glass

No Problem. Just how do you expect emergency services to get you out of your car in the event of a crash?

 

The door can open from the inside, just not the outside.

Break Glass (In which cases they most will) - Then open door handle.

I still don't see anything in subject to what I'm asking for on that site, maybe you can guide me directly?
