so they're not as white as silverstars? cuz i think both of them give out the same colour temperature of 4000k, so they should be the same.
They just say phillips blue vision ultra on the packaging as for the brightness no its not as bright as silverstars, but are just as white in light. They're still very good for what I paid for them.

just get HID's
in the end its more worth it

u'll probably end up spending hundreds on bulbs burnt anyways

that or stick w/ oem bulbs which rarely burn out

or gettled hassled by the cops (or so I hear) from users who fabricate HID into OEM mounts

for the price I dont think HID is worth it, unless your car came stock and the light pattern is very nice.

you're right Matt, not worth it unless you can get it to work properly in a stock housing without casuing so much glare, and even after, you can get hassled for modifying your stock headlights.

I've driven behind many cops so far and haven't had one problem.. They work perfect in my housing... No glare or anything.. Mine look like the TL's HID...... I'll get better pics soon to show how they really look.

yeah HID's would be cool .... another thing why I dont' have them is because I just can't get myself to spend the money on them.

I haven't had problems so far even when I got pulled over for "failure to signal" which was gay, but whatever, the cop stared at my lights and didn't say anything...

and yes I have retro-fitted HID's, you saw em I dunno if they glare people though?

btw thanks for posting those pics of the showoffs

I picked them up last month, they're nice I noticed no difference between the two.
I have one silver star bulb that is still good, you can have it for $10.

yeah but do you do a lot of night driving bruno ?
I know I do and thats still rediculous how these burnt out so fast.
the Phillips are great, two bulbs cost around the same as one silverstar and looks just as nice and in my opinion just as white.

arent DTRL and "night time lights" the same bulb? so regardless on daytime or night driving it would be the same??

and peoples lights burn out cuz when they install em the touch the glass and ****...then they complain about how they only lasted however long...and working at an autoparts shop that sold ultra white lights I've seen it happen 9/10 times...I had cheapo ractive lights in my crx for 4 years and no problems...and if u do touch the glass of the bulb clean it off with rubbing alcohol and coton ball...lights should last a good while regardless of brand...its all how u install em!
