Sun Roof installation question

I wouldn't even attempt to try this myself but I would really like a sunroof in my 99 Civic DX. I had one in my old car and I miss it like crazy. can anyone tell me how much it would cost to put one in and possibly where I could get it done.

If I do get it done should I be worried about rust around the roof because it wasn't factory installed?

Thanks in advanced.

There is a place in the GTA who does wicked power sunroof installs, and they do it for all the dealers. We know of ppl who've had theirs done there 10 years ago + and they've had no problems with rust or leakage. $1500 is about the going price for such a thing, and if you do a search on here you should be able to find the name of the shop

does the price change any for a non power roof? I'm not really picky and if it'll save some moola I might do that.

You can have a shatty pop-up sunroof put in for a few hundred bux, but who wants that?? IMO, it would lower the value of the car. Go big or not at all.

if ur car is stock and not modified i would rather just trade that car in for a civic se 3 dr hatch. its a bit harder to find but well worth it plus u get factory option 14 inch rims, spoiler etc...
