i just repainted my front bumper cuz it had so many chips, and im gonna store my car away for the winter pretty soon. my question is...is there some sort of spray or chemical i can buy to protect my front bumper better, so it chips less...perhaps some sort of clear coat to put over the paint to make it stronger and less chipable...is there such things?

 

there's a clear vinylly kinda thing available that you'd put on and leave on, but i can't remember what it's called off hand..

here's a tip... tell the dumbass who paints your bumper next time to lay on thinner coats of paint. I ****** hate it when these ***** just lay it on there like a blanket thinner paint = less chips

3m stoneguard, we sell it at the dealership and its good stuff. Retail on it is about 399 that does the front bumper/hood about halfway to the fronot door
