Thinking of getting rid of my motha!

I've been using mother car care products for awhile, do like them but wondering what others are using for detailing and waxing?

ive heard great things about the monkey. ive used meguires, not too impressed. on my daily i just use whatever looks decent, you dont really need to wax the car more than once every 3 months. and clay bar MAYBE once a year depending where you park it. People go overkill on that clay bar and compounds and polishes. Everytime you do that you're taking clear off, and eventually will dull because youve taken too much off. There is about 1/2 of the amount of film on a sharp crown or edge as there is on a flat panel, so remember that when you're buffing.

I'd have to say Zaino. Several people here swear by their stuff.

I use Mcguires and the stuff is good..infact the most you need for any car within a reasonable budget. Zaino is definitely good but expensive at the same time.

If you spring for the right meguiars products you can create amazing results. I will soon be getting some rare #16 wax, and I may try one of the meguiars sealants as well under it. As long as you have the proper technique, and don't half *** the work, your results can be just as good.
