where to buy oem fogs and rear lip?

I am looking to buy the oem fogs for a 99-00 civic but I can't really find them anywhere but from a Honda dealer. Anybody got a hookup for those things cuz they are expensive. I had a set before but I left them in my buddies car and they were stolen. So I need a new set, but I don't want to pay $425+ taxes. I also don't want the knockoff ones...they are cheap even though they are half price IMO they are not even worth that.
Also, I want to get a JDM rear lip for my 00 civic coupe but I have no idea where to get one. I don't want the cheap abs plastic ones. I want a real JDM piece not a replica, thats a proper fit. Anybody know where to get it? I'm talking locally if possible. I don't really want to have to order one from the US cuz shipping/brokerage/conversion is going to kill me.

Not sure about the replica OEM SiR fogs, but I have a set of replica OEM EL fogs on my EL and can't tell a difference in quality between them and OEM, they even come with the OEM switch. Anyways, if you are interested, I got them at Speedtech in Scarborough (416) 335-8388.

I called them....$250 tax in. Thats a pretty good price I would say.
do you know if the fogs will need to be painted to match my paint? I would think that that do.

yes speedtech wants 250 for them and yes they will need to be painted (the bezelz that is) since they will be commin black i believe. The difference between oem and aftermarket on these fogs is that the oem comes in the grey colour and the aftermarket comes in black.

And in some cases the switch as well.........the aftermarket switch might look the same as the factory one, but it has two minor differences.

1. You can't change the light in the aftermarket ones as easily as the factory ones....the aftermarket ones are soldered in, the factory ones can be twisted and pulled out.

2. The fit and finish are not the same as the factory ones. Aftetmarket ones tend NOT to sit flush with the rest of the switches when turned off. It sits a bit higher than the rest. You ONLY notice this when the switch is in the OFF position. The colour is also off a bit as well........you'll see what I mean.

This I know for sure is true for the aftermarket lights for the 5th gen.

It bothered me enough, that I went and bought the factory fog light switch from Honda.
You can't beat the fit and finish of a factory piece. (sometimes though......cash is short, and you have to compermise).

forget it then......I'd rather get the factory one's from honda. its double the price but worth it cuz there are no problems and it fits perfect. I'm not going to deviate from factory spec and or parts. I'll get it from sisley honda....they want $450.

just remember that the ek ones require cuttin ur bumper so unless your fully commited to getting another paint IF (lets hope not) they get stolen (since these things go like hot cakes) dont do it. Cuz there will be a 2 HUGE HOLES in the bumper (99-00)

As I said with my EL fogs, the switch is identical to the OEM one, fits exactly the same, and lights up the same. The quality of the fogs themselves is also exactly the same as OEM and they bolt up perfectly to factory mounting points. I did look at a set of the SiR fogs (to see the quality) he had in stock at the time I picked up my EL fogs and the quality looked identical to OEM to me.

Just my 2 cents.
