wht kind of mod do i need

can anyone pls tell me wht kind of mod do i need to mod a 96-98 OEM style rear lip to put onto 99 bumper...

uumm... aren't 96-00 rear bumper all the same?

A little different... but same length, so really, no mods are needed that I know of, but it's best to check with the lip manufacturer.

you need to mod it because the fastener locations are different. you should do a search on www.clubsi.com. i know i've seen instructions on how to do the mod in the forums over there.

The 96-00 Civics are all essentially the same, but in 1999 they were slightly changed so 99 and 00 Civics are just a little different. Interior changes included a change in the dashboard (ie. set up of climate control, radio placement) and a couple of exterior changes like different tail lights so I think that the rear bumper changed too a bit.
