Has anyone who has these skirts noticed an increase inroad noise while driving. I certainly have. I am interested in finding a way to seriously reduce this noise level in the cabin (sound deadening material has not worked sufficiently). Any other guesses as to what is causing it and/or solutions to fixing it?

i think it may have to do with the way they were installed, do u have any clue what is causing the sideskirts to make noise? are they held on there loosely and bouncing around???? many things could be causing this problem. pics would help

Yes more detail would be helpful. It's always suggested that on top of screwing the side skirts into each wheel well, double sided 3M tape should also be used to hold the skirt in place. The tape also is used to insulate vibration and resonance noise the skirts may produce.

I dont think its the actual skirts making noise like rattling. they are installed quite well with screws and 3M double sided tape. It almost seems like there is decreased aerodynamics, and the side skirts have altered the airflow around the side of the car. maybe instead of the air flowing around the outside of the car, it passing between the 'frame' and the skirt and because of the hollow nature of the skirt it does not allow for sound suppression. Could this be possible, and i might just have to live with it the way it is? Would having the skirts molded into the body help this?
Any opinions would be nice
