Wiper Blade Problem

Wiper Blade Problem
I'm sure many of you have had to deal with this problem before..
But on a rainy day, my windshield gets this waxy look on the exterior every time it rains and the wiper blades swipe over. Which makes it worse when lights from oncoming traffic hit the windshield and causes a glare on my end at which point I cant see a thing. My wiper arms and blades are stock and the rubber insert blades were replaced about 3.5 years ago. Oddly theres no streaking (except on really really cold days, until I spray it and then it goes away again). So the wipers seem to be fine.
Some recommended spraying the windshield with "Stoner Invisible Glass" (CT). Others said change the wiper blade, and scrub the windshield with a fine steel wool.
Bah, I'm not sure who to listen to.
Frustrated.

I think this started happening after I got my car rust proofed two months ago. They sprayed my windshield (which they're not supposed to), and that **** took 2 weeks to come off....visibly it looked fine..but what I didnt realize was, the oil created this oily\waxy film on the glass, which to this day hasnt left...ARGHFDHfsfsdf

I contacted the Rust proofing place this morning and I think they know what I'm talking about because the manager didnt put up a fight at all.
He recommended cleaning the wiper blade rubber with Windex...if that doesnt work, he told me to come in and he'd replace the blades for me at his own expense.
Hat damn!
