yellow transparent plexiglass foglights (unsafe for 56K)
well i finally got the time to get yellow transparent plexiglass cutouts for me. material was cheap but labour to get it done was expensive.
reason i got this done was because i've had 2 sets of fogs crack/break on me. so i got tired of this and decided to get plexiglass cutouts instead. plexiglass is 1/8" thick so wont break easily but could still bend to the contours of the curved fogs.
getting the glass out of there wasnt hard, just used a hair dryer to heat up the silicone. the hard part was beading new silicone in there because i tried twice and it was too much and could be seen from the inside of the foglight. finally the third time got it closest to being the way i want it. it was pain to get the silicone off of the plexiglass though.
while i was at it, since i had to take the bumper off, i figured i should put on my JDM emblems on too. probably the best time to do it as its gonna rain in a couple days so that lets the adhesives time to dry.
oh and sorry if the car is dirty, the rain will clean that soon.
took out the shrouds from the OEM fogs...
1/8" thick...thats what she said...
mmm, JDM goodness...
new and improved Stanley fogs...
get out old H...
test fit and my camera bag...
enjoy...all pics taken with the "nifty fifty".

thanks all.
emblems are from speedstar.
as for the fogs being JDM like, they're not. since the 7thGen, the JDM civics have had clear lense fogs. i prefer my fogs to be yellow because i cant match the colour of the HIDs with halogen bulbs and dont want HID fogs.
