Hey everyone,

I just bought a 2000 Civic SE with 294xxx kms on the clock. It was a one-owner vehicle maticulously maintained at one dealership. It's in like-new condition and I was surprised based on the kms.

The question: on the hwy, above 110kms/hr, the engine gets a tad bit noisy. I have had the oil changed. It's almost as if it needs a valve adjustment. Do these engines need valve adjustments?

Other than this one minor issue it runs like a champ and doesn't burn any oil.

What does it sound like at idle? If there is a alight tic then it may require a valve adjustment.
