USA 95 civic ex no start HELP!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone. I am working on a 95 civic ex 1.6 sohc vtec (D16Z6) with a crank but no start condition. I have spark, compression (175-180psi on all 4), fuel and timing marks line up. With all that being said the car will still not start. The guy I am working on it for got it started by push starting it down a hill. I had it started myself the other day but it was hard to start and ran rich as hell, then it sat overnight and now wont start at all won't even try. Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

So it has locked up? by excessive cranking you may have flooded the cylinders and contaminated the oil with fuel.

As for the actual problem, did it just happen out of nowhere? was there any work done?

No not locked up the motor spins freely, The oil is pretty black tho. Every few tries I will pull the spark plugs, disconnect the injectors and unhook the distributor and turn the motor over for a few seconds to clear the cylinders of raw fuel. I just swapped distributors with a supposed known working one and still nothing, although it did seem to try to fire about 2 times (sounded like one cylinder fired for a split second). Supposedly the guy was driving it and it just died on him so instead of diagnosing the problem he installed a new (aftermarket) distributor and that did nothing, so he dropped it off at my shop and a few days later I got to it, tried to start it and after excessive cranking it started and seemed to run fine. After that he picked up the car and drove it for a few weeks and then the same problem again. Once again he dropped it off to me, I pulled the plugs and disconnected the injectors and the distributor, turned the motor for a few seconds and after that reconnected everything and it started (again with excessive cranking) but this time it was running very rich. After that it was driven around for a while and sat over night and now it wont even try to start at all...

All connections are good at the ecu as well. This makes no sense!!!!!!!! The 7.5 amp back up fuse under the dash was blown so I replaced it and still nothing. Also the oil pressure switch on the vtec solenoid is broken but the guy said that he broke that after the car had already died. I am at a loss here, any help, suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Okay...... The car will indeed start when push started and will also start with the key when warm, but when it sits over night or for an extended period of time it will not start with the key but will start when pushed.... Ignition switch???

You sure you are getting fuel and spark while trying to start with the key? If so, then I don't think it is the ignition switch.

How long does it take to start by push-starting?
