96 hatch converted to 0bd-1 idle issues

okay so here it goes

I have a 96 hatch auto converted to manual recently
I plan on turboing my car so I converted to obd-1 I am using:
Y8 intake manifold,(240cc) injectors, iacv, throttle body
an unchipped po6 computer.

I bled the coolant no bubbles

No check engine light it does work

I can drive it runs smooth if anything it is abit slower oh a jumper harness I'd being used

It does try to idle but at 200 rpm

I may just adjust the idle screw but I don't think that Is the answer

there was no reason to it was very clean but I changed the computer to an ls computer(b18b) p75 it made a huge difference it now idles but the rpm will drop sometimes but not stall out but its very close to stalling out but from a performance point the ls computer is much faster than a po6 computer to my surprise

I will change the iacv if I can get another to try

how did this happen?

Did you do a swap then it didnt idle? or swap manifolds or something? Or did it just stop idling one day

you could have a vacuum leak somewhere, have you checked for leaks?

after it was converted it wouldn't idle properly I'm thinking it is a vacuum leak

Now it will idle but it has a stumble

It will idle at 800 rpm or so
then it will drop to 200 for only a moment

How can I do a vacuum test I've never done one before

Sorry guys I'm writing this from my itouch computer is down lol

It's been converted to a 2 wire the orange wire was discarded and the other 2 wires matched the colours i had on the plug

then the jumper harness was already wired for a car that had either a 2 wire or 3 wire so i didn't need to repin the ecu plug i think it is a vacuum leak I have a new throttle body gasket and intake manifold gasket on the way

take some brake cleaner and spray it around areas such as intake mani gasket, exhaust mani, and any vaccuum lines. if the rpms go up after you spray an area thats where the leak is possibly coming from. or you could go to a tech to do a leak down test.

unplug the IACV and see if that helps. mine was doing the same, with the same setup (almost), and unplugging the IACV resolved the issue.
