b20 into 93 eg help!!!!
hey guys ive been reading up on it but im kinda confused about some of it
im putting a b20 into my 93 eg
i know im going to need bseris mounts and linkage, now all that stuff is attached to the motor its a complete motor and b16 trans it has everything alt dizzy evverything
the part im confused about is that some people are saying i have to wire a few things in and others are saying i can plug it right into the tower and put a diff ecu in?
so my question is can i plug it in ? can i use the b20 engine harness ?
and what ecu do i use?
also anything else i missed?
oh one other thing i was told to use a da integra intake manifold so do i use the b20 throttle body or integra one?

Ok, so the parts you need are: driveshafts, linkage, mounts, ecu, obd1 distributor.
You should use the stock engine harness or if engine harness was attached to the engine, use that as long as its obd1. That way it will plug into the strut towers. Now b20 being obd2, that's where you may come across some problems. Many plugs changed between obd1/obd2, so you may need to repin some plugs. That's why I said you need obd1 distributor. You can get the conversion harness since obd2 uses one big plug and obd1 uses two smaller plugs. All the same wires though, so if you find a pigtail you can modify the harness/distributor to fit.
Now what year integra did it come out of? 90-91 were obd0 and 92-93 were obd1. If it came out of obd1 integra, then it should all plug in, otherwise it depends what the previous owner did to make everything work.
Moreover, regarding the ecu issue, you can use a 92-95 integra ecu, though it won't be perfect, it will run fine. Now you should get an obd1 ecu socketed and chipped with b20 software. Contact zeeman, I got my b20 software from him and I love it.
