Hey guys...
I am about to get a '93 hatch with a b20z. I tried searching the forums for an answer but couldn't find anything specific.

I wanted to know what head is the best to swap to get maximum increase in hp and torque. Getting a K swap is too expensive so I can't even think about that right now.

Is type R head the best way to go? I would go turbo in the future but that is after I get bored of the engine.

theres a b20vtec thread almost everyday on honda tech. Try searching.

Short answer.. yes a type'r head would be your best choice out of the stock heads, obviously.
