couple issues with b16

I just had a b16a2 put into my 92 civic vx hatch. For some reason the speedo isn't working. Any ideas? Also is there any re-pinning of the iacv sensor as I am getting a cel for the iacv and bouncy idle when engine is cold. Well let me know guys, thanks.

maybe your VSS (vehicle speed sensor) isn't plugged in, or the new b16 one is busted.

There is NO re-pinning necessary for the IACV, but yours could be very dirty or faulty, try cleaning it out with some brake cleaner.

thanks man, was gonna try that was my first thought. The 92 civic stock cluster should work with the b16 with no issues right? Just trying to figure out why my speedo aint working, kinda annoying. I know the cluster is good I just replaced it, there is no way it would of shorted it out or something right? Doesn't make sense to me, just trying to narrow it down. Let me know of any input.

just clean it out with brake cleaner, make sure to take the little o-ring gasket on the IACV off before using chemicals to clean it. Brake cleaner will work fine on the throttle body too, but there is specific carb/throttle body cleaner they sell at crappy tire and part source if you'd rather use that.
