d15 to d16 vtec

k first of i have a 93 civic coupe dx and im swapping a motor from a 93 coupe si i need to change the computer but do i have to run wires for vtec? if yes how

yes you have to run 3 tires for vtec with p28 ecu. (knock sensor, pressure switch and vtec solenoid).

you do NOT need to run wires for a knock sensor with a p28 b/c the p28's don't have knock boards.
But you run the 1 wire from the vtec solenoid to pin A4 on the ecu, and 1 wire of the vtec pressure switch (green plug with 2 wires) to pin D6 and the other wire to a ground.
And you don't have to change the computer, you can just add the vtec components to your current ecu and chip it so you can run the D16z6 program on your ecu.
