I started my swap tonight and everything was going great until I came across a sensor located on the engine block on the left side if your sanding in front of the car hidden by the valve cover, i tried to undo it and it broke what can I do?
Is there places that sell them local, and will me new egine start if I dont get one in time?
Thanks

its probably a coolant temperature sensor.

Is it the 2-wire sensor or the 1-wire sensor?

Either way to 2 sensors on the side of the head under the dizzy are both coolant temp sensors.

i believe part source actually has manual transmission fluid.
i remember looking for it at c-tire and all they had was auto.

Exclamation swap update part2

I got the car started and its at my house right now
only a few issues left with the swap.
1. I put in the new p28 ecu and my temp gauge doesnt work?
2. The rad fan also doesnt work?
3. Since my d15b didnt come with the distributor, I use the stock cx one and it runs ruff...will get the correct one this week ( not driving the car until I get it )
4.There is one harness wire that has no place to connect near the far right side of the intake manifold. the old cx had some type of sensor on the top right of the intake manifold (thats where it connected) but the d15b does not... what to do?

I figured out the orange wire porblem its just my old block heater wire so im not going to use it.. problem sloved

if theres anyone that has done a d15b swap and is wiling to see if everything is good with my swap or able to help me out with the problems listed please let me know.
Thanks again
