D16Y8 boosted
Ok here is the problem i have a boosted 1.6 vtech pushing around 12 psi of boost and everytime I beat on it prestone gets pushed out of the overflow used to be the rad now its the overflow after I changed the rad cap runs awsome doesnt miss no prestone in the oil plugs look ok dont get it works fine till you boost it up then the prestone starts to fly out

lets get all the terminology fixed up here
prestone = coolant/antifreeze
vtech = vtec
miss = pisses out
12 pounds of boost out of what motor 1.6 vtec could be many different motors is this a B series motor, D series motor? b16, b18, b20, d15, d16 need more info for everyone to help you out

Its a D16Y8 and yes it is a vtec and everytime I boost it antifreeze comes out of the rad or the overflow bottle car runs fine at idle no overheating issues no antifreeze in the oil either really the only issue is under boost can drive the car all day with no issues as long as you dont boost it

Sounds like you have a headgasket issue to me if coolant is being pushed out during boost. Are you having any overheating issues ?
I would remove the radiator cap and run the car at idle and check to see if any bubbles are burbing out of the coolant. If it continuely does this you can be assured combustion gasses are leaking into the cooling system.
To confirm you can buy a kit that checks the cooling system for any combustion gasses at any good automotive store.

Yes the turbo is water/oil cooled where should the coolant lines run ??? This is my first boosted car. I have also removed the cap and started the car there where are a few bubbles but after a little while they went away. I also thought it may have had an air lock in the cooling system. If does turn out to be a headgasket what can I do to try and prevent it from happening again ????

You are getting headlift under boost. Which is pretty common if you don't use ARP head studs, or if they aren't torqued to spec and in sequence. You need to remove the head, purchase a new headgasket, ARP headstuds, re-surface the head and install.
