Distributor and Intake Ques

Ok im swapping a 99-00 D series into my 97 hatch.

I noticed that the plugs are different between the 96-98 and 99-00 distributor, now can i just re pin them?

Second off im putting a y8 head on the y7 block along with the y8 intake manifold. How do i differentiate between and auto and manual one? And is there any wiring needed to make the manifold work?

Lastly is there any other plugs that are different in terms of sensors etc when it comes to a swap like this?

Thanks!

I'm guessing when you say plugs you mean the connectors on your harness? if your car was not vtec (y7) before the y8 dizz is different because of vtec.
As for the inake manifold the difference is the t/b. An auto will have more to it because when you floor it, it makes the car downshift. if your car is manual then either will work for you. if your can is auto then you need one for auto.

Y7 uses a three pin IACV, and auto Y8 uses a three pin IACV. all others IIRC use the two pin IACV on the back of the manifold.

I run an auto Y8 intake manifold on my Y7
