E-TEST for JDM B18C motor

Hi, I was just received a letter informing me that I have to get my car tested for emissions. I'm worried I might not be able to pass. I'm running on a JDM cat right now with the JDM ITR motor. Anyone here passed emissions with this setup.

Thanks in advance,
George

Use the fuel treatment from Can. tire and follow the directions...when you fill up for the etest, use 94 octane from Sunoco and last but not least.....

USE AN LS ECU...that is key...if you don't pass with those things done....I'm almost sure nothing else will do it.

Make sure you drive your car hard before hand to make sure that everything is warmed up properly.

take ur car on the highway for about 15 minutes and then go directly to take the test... it will warm up everything... its better if u drive it on highway the city because it doesnt work as hard as in the city ...

I just passed over the weekend with my JDM ITR with Toda B camshafts.

swapped out my header for a stock one, put in the cat, and also ran a B16 ecu. passed just a hair over the average numbers. a P28 ECU will work as well if you're OBD1.

sometimes, an aftermarket header will not warm up the cat enough...something to keep in mind.

I think you might run into a problem with the cat, If you have a USDM one throw that in.

find a shop that does "hot rod" e-tests. if that motor didnt come in that car... then theyll test it as a hotrod and itll be alot easier.. tahts what i did with mine.
