engine bogging
So for a while now when it rains or it is extremely damp outside and everything is wet my car is bogging when driving up till about 3500 rpms but as soon as i change gears it will start to bog out again... Its almost like its hesitant but i don't know what to do... I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice or if this happens to them if they could let me know whats going on and if I have to change anything or do something to help it out.... Any help would be greatly appreciated so i can solve this issue... Thanks

When your check engine light is on, you ECU runs a default 'safe' mode so your car doesn't hurt itself, thus making your car run like shi.t. Get the code checked/cleared and your problems will go away.
Youtube has videos on checking your OBD0 computer (CEL = check engine light). If you take your negative wire off your battery for 30 seconds (or 30 minutes) it will clear your computers CEL.
Hope this helps,
Good Luck!

My bad, why don't you Youtube search for OBD2 (II) than?
YouTube - OBD2 diagnostic socket test
Sorry that link was no real help lol... But search some more, or search the forums how to do it.
PM zeeman here on the forums, he's got a shop.

happening only when wet or damp outside usually distributor cap/cap seal, or spark plug wires. cel is most likely a misfire code
way to find out is have car running, pop hood, get water in a spray bottle a spray a little over spark plug wires and distributor, if the mist causes what looks like a little electrical short replace whats necessary. when the mist hits it its not hard to notice what it really is you'll figure it out

X2 Probably your distributer. Take your cap off and check the rubber seal, and the contacts for damage. Spray the inside of the cap with WD40 and put it back on. I had a 1990 integra that had the exact same problem. I had to spray it all the time until I got a new cap+seal. Aside from that check the resistance in your plug wires, maybe you have an internal break. my 92 hatch had a hesitation issue and it was just a bad wire that was arcing (which also threw a code). If you don't want to mess around with all this stuff just get the code read and see what it says and go from there! lol

i had the same problem turns out one of my spark wire boot thing wasn't plugged in properly to the distibutor leaving a gap and moister probably built up in there. that fixed my problem. easiest way to check it out is just get a spray bottle with water and spray around the spark wires and distributor in the dark and you might see sparks if there's an open somewhere.
